  AIMS OF FLAVTISTRA 2012:
through festival, workshops, presentations, exhibitions and concerts during two full days we would like to give young flutists the possibility to socialize, bond, share their experience, exchange their knowledge and learn.


  RULES OF FESTIVAL:

1. As a part of the 2. International Young Flutists Platform, a Festival for Young Flutists will take place at the Koper Music School on 24. and 25. November 2012.

2. Categories:
1. category: up to 12 years of age
(born 2000 and later)
2. category: 13 to 15 years of age (born from 1999 to 1997)
3. category: 16 to 18 years of age (born from 1996 to 1994)

3. Festival programme:
1. category: two pieces of own choice and different
    character, up to 5 minutes of programme,
2. category: pieces of own choice, of different character
   and different music period, up to 7 minutes of programme,
3. category: pieces of own choice, of different character
   and different music period, up to 10 minutes of programme.

Participants are to provide to the festival registrar three copies of piano scores (there are no copying facilities in the Music School).
Participants have to arrange for the accompanists on their own or they can request the pianist at festival (mark in application form). If you need a pianist, it is necessary to send a photocopy of piano scores together with the application form.

4. Festival rules:
- the festival is international,
- younger candidates are allowed to play in the
   higher category,
- only original music scores can be used for the festival 
   programme,
- in case of withdrawal from the festival, the application fee
   will not be refunded,
- before the festival, participants must show a valid ID to
   the festival registrar,
- the order of festival participants is determined
   on the base of alphabetical order of the initial
   letter of the surname drawn "B" forward,

- the jury will deliver a written opinion to each festival
   participant,
- participants will receive a opinion of the jury and a certificate
   of attendance at the evening gala concerts,
- the organizer of the festival has the right to record
   (audio, video) the festival, the participants accept to give
   up their rights of fee and authorship, and agree with
   the public nature of the festival and broadcasting the
   festival recordings.

  Festival fee for PASSIVE participants and teachers:

Fee for passive teachers who wish to attend workshops, presentations and concerts on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November 2012 is 50.00 €.
Fee for passive teachers who wish to attend only workshops and presentations on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November 2012 is 40,00 €.

Fee for passive participants who wish to attend workshops and presentations on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November 2012 is 15.00 €.
ENTRY is FREE at all other FlavtIstra 2012 activities (festival, young flutists concerts, roundtable, solemn concerts, exhibition) on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November 2012.


Admission to the Solemn Concerts:

Tickets price for a single Solemn Concert on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November 2012 is 10,00 €.

Festival fee and tickets payment for the PASSIVE participants and teachers:
