Dear participants of FlavtIstra 2014

We spent two intensive days of playing, listening exceptional concerts, experienced exciting and informative workshops, presentations and lectures, and tried the variety of sounds of rich flutes selection on the exhibition. FlavtIstra has
achieved its purpose: to connect young flutists towards a common goal, experiencing music in all its fullness!

Your outstanding performances show a deep devotion, joy and love to play the flute. Each of you carries a wealth which
is priceless, unique and sacred. Keep it as such.
Thanks also to your mentors who transmit an invaluable knowledge and parents who support you in your musical development.

I wish that by playing flute you speak and freely express and indulge your wonderful stories to the world.
Let your experience from FlavtIstra continue enriching and inspiring you.

With love,
Alenka Zupan,
FlavtIstra 2014 Project Leader
