To give young flutists the possibility to socialize, bond, share their experience, exchange their knowledge and learn through festival, workshops, presentations, exhibitions and concerts.
As a part of the 4th International Young Flutists Platform, a Festival for Young Flutists
will take place at the Koper Music School on 25th until 27th November 2016.
CATEGORYS / PROGRAMME
SOLOISTS
1st category: up to 12 years of age (born in 2004 and later)
two compositions of own choice but of different character,
up to 5 minutes of programme;
2nd category: 13 to 15 years of age (born between 2003 and 2001)
compositions of own choice, of different character and from different music period,
up to 7 minutes of programme;
3rd category: 16 to 18 years of age (born between 2000 and 1998)
compositions of own choice, of different character and from different music period,
up to 10 minutes of programme;
4th category: 19 to 21 years of age (born between 1997 and 1995)
compositions of own choice, of different character and from different music period,
up to 12 minutes of programme;
5th category: 22 to 25 years of age (born between 1994 and 1991)
compositions of own choice, of different character and from different music period,
up to 15 minutes of programme.
CHAMBER GROUP WITH FLUTE
1st category: the average age of a group member: up to 14 years
compositions of own choice, of different character and from different music period,
up to 10 minutes of programme;
2nd category: the average age of a group member: up to 18 years
compositions of own choice, of different character and from different music period,
up to 15 minutes of programme;
3rd category: the average age of a group member: up to 25 years
compositions of own choice, of different character and from different music period,
up to 20 minutes of programme.
Participants must provide three copies of piano scores /chamber music score (there will be no copying facilities at the Music School). The copies of piano scores should be shown at the registration, before the festival starts.
Participants have to arrange for the piano accompanists on their own or they can request for the pianist at the festival (this should be marked in the application form). In this case, it is necessary to send a photocopy of piano scores together with the application form and with registration payment you need to pay also the piano accompagnement.
Application fee for SOLOISTS:
- Fee for 1st and 2nd category is 50,00 €.
- Fee for 3rd and 4th category is 60,00 €.
- Fee for 5th category is 70,00 €.
Application fee for CHAMBER GROUPS WITH FLUTE:
- Fee for 1st category is 70,00 € (for chamber group).
- Fee for 2nd category is 90,00 € (for chamber group).
- Fee for 3rd category is 110,00 € (for chamber group).
The application fee includes attendance at all activities of FlavtIstra from Friday,
25th to Sunday, 27th November 2016.
The chosen participants of the 4th and 5th category - SOLOISTS and 3rd category - CHAMBER GROUP WITH FLUTE,
will be selected by the FlavtIstra 2016 festival committee and will perform at YOUNG FLUTISTS CONCERT,
which will be held on Friday, 25th November 2016 at 5 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Koper Music School (with option of recording from Radio Koper).
Parents, teachers and accompanists of active participants (soloist or member of the chamber group) have FREE ENTRY at festival and all other events of FlavtIstra. The participation of parent, teacher and accompanist must be filled in an application form. Tickets will be withdrawn on the arrival of the participant at the Info Point in the lobby of Koper Music School.
Application fee for the OFFICIAL PIANO ACCOMPANIST:
- Fee for the 1st category is 25,00 €.
- Fee for the 2nd category is 30,00 €.
- Fee for the 3rd category is 35,00 €.
- Fee for the 4th category is 40,00 €.
- Fee for the 5th category is 45,00 €.
In the case that participant needs an official piano accompanist of the festival FlavtIstra, this should be appropriately marked in the application form and the price fee must be paid along with the registration fee.
Besides other necessary registration evidence, the applicant must be send also piano parts for official piano accompanist.
The fee for the official piano accompanist FlavtIstra 2016 includes two rehearsals and performance at the festival.

is 10,00 €.

- the festival is international,
